João Simões Raposo earned his degree in architecture in 1980 from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisbon. He worked on a variety of projects before founding his architectural practice Arquiqual in the town of Corroios in 2004. Today, Arquiqual provides a wide range of services in the fields of architecture, urbanism, engineering, visual communication and building refurbishment.
Arquiqual relies on a competent, technically skilled and creative team to achieve the highest level of architectural and urban quality in all of its physical, visual and psychological aspects. The studio’s work includes building villas, industrial and commercial buildings, urban redevelopment projects and even renovating spaces.
