AJA - Arquitetura Joana Andrade believes in the importance of expressing the personality and tastes of its customers through the spaces it builds. Joana Andrade was born in Lisbon and graduated in architecture in 2006, from the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and holds a doctorate in Science and Information Technology, related to Architecture, from ISCTE-IUL.
Working since 2007 as an architect, Joana Andrade works individually and in collaboration with several offices, where she acquired international experience in places like Portugal, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia and the USA. Thanks to these collaborations Joana has a unique and broad vision in the processes of construction and design.
Believing that in the areas of architecture, engineering and construction everyone plays an important role and collaborates for the excellence of their projects, AJA strives to offer the client the best with partners in the respective areas. Also, AJA develops BIM (Building Information Modeling) projects, her technological tool, in order to develop projects with the fewest possible errors.
